When an electromagnetic pulse strikes the United States, Charlie is at work in Albuquerque, New Mexico, sixty miles from her son in Santa Fe. With no car and no way home, to see him again she must fight her way through a city in chaos with nothing more than her get-home bag and dogged determination.
An EMP, though, is only the beginning of a much more deadly and more terrifying disaster.
Ground Zero is a novella set in my Desolation universe. It can be read as a stand-alone but is best enjoyed between Desolation 3 and Desolation 4.
